Seven series. Paintings, sculptures and works on unconventional surfaces.

Perek Shira

An ancient Jewish text in which every creature sings a verse from Torah — praise, gratitude, awe — all directed to the Creator. Each painting pairs a creature with its song, some born from a veil, all reaching back thousands of years.

The Veils Series

A veil begins with no plan — just color, brush, and whatever the hand wants to do. Layer by layer, day by day, an abstract painting builds itself. When it feels full, I stop. Then I turn it. Look at it sideways, upside down, in different light. My subconscious was painting something all along — I just have to find it. Usually many images appear. I paint the one that won’t let me go. Every finished painting in this series carries that hidden history — the abstract layers are still there, underneath.

Miami Life

Miami is not a backdrop — it’s a participant. The light, the water, the bridges, the neighborhood streets. These paintings are daily life as I actually live it, unhurried and paying attention.

Jerusalem / Israel

My connection to Israel goes back decades — long before my daughter made her life there. Jerusalem stone, Old City gates, black cats on sun-warmed walls. These paintings are personal history as much as they are place. My family now lives inside that landscape, and so do I, every time I paint it.

Blessings

Hebrew blessings said the same way for thousands of years — the same words, morning and night. These paintings give those words a body: color, texture, gold. Some are commissions. Some are available.

Painted Fins

A monofin is a competitive swimming tool — two feet locked into one blade, used for speed and power in the water. I swim with one every morning. When a fin is retired from use, I paint it. What was functional becomes something else: a shaped canvas with a life already in it.

 Art You Can Touch

Some work asks to be looked at. This work asks to be touched, moved, and rearranged. Sculptures, shadow boxes, and puzzles — each one changes depending on who is handling it. The person interacting with the art becomes part of it, and part of its story. This section includes the Sea Cubes, Shadow Boxes, and Puzzles.
